Our Story: Where We Started
Smart Procure was founded from a simple, real-world challenge.
In my previous role, I was tasked with sourcing products for the business. Like many companies, we initially relied on local suppliers. However, it quickly became clear that the local market often meant limited options, higher costs, and restricted flexibility.
To explore better solutions, I began sourcing internationally. Through extensive research and direct communication with overseas manufacturers, I was able to identify suppliers who not only met our quality expectations, but also offered significantly more competitive pricing. The results were immediate — better products, improved consistency, and substantial cost savings.
This experience revealed a larger gap in the market. Many businesses continue to rely solely on local sourcing, not because it is the best option, but because accessing and managing international suppliers can be complex, time-consuming, and uncertain.
Recognising this, I saw an opportunity to build a solution. Smart Procure was established in partnership with experienced sourcing professionals, with the goal of helping businesses access global supply networks with confidence. We focus on delivering reliable sourcing, transparent processes, and cost-effective solutions tailored to each client’s needs.
